"Big Disasters"

When there are natural disasters a lot of people die. Others lose their family and house.

It is very difficult to recover the lost things. In 1985 in Mexico, City there was an earthquake of 7.5. It was in the morning, and a lot of buildings collapsed. People were very frightened. They walked around and cried without knowing what to do. I don’t remember how many people died, but a lot of people lost their family and their house.

The government promise to help those people, but they never recovered their houses.

"Loving Person"

I like it when a person thinks of other people. For example, Louis Brialle thought of how to help blind people, and he invented the Braille System. Another person made that system better and put it in something more, like keyboards, watches, telephones, elavators, etc.

I know there are a lot of people who want to help other people. And for me the are Loving Persons.

"Fruit Water"

Mexican people like to drink fruit water. If you go to Mexico, You can see different kinds of fruit water in the markets.For example ther are lemon drinks, ["Water of lemon' or lemonade]pineapplo drinks, tamarcindo ['water of tamarind fruit], jamaica ["water of red hisbiscus flower", iced red zinger tea], etc. Mexican people drink fresh fruit water every day.

"Honduras is in Problem"

I think the O.A.S. should not pressure Honduras to reistate President Zelaya, because the O.A.S. doesn't live in Honduras and they don't know Zelaya's conducto.

The piople in Honduras don't want Zelaya, It is because Zelaya wants more power and to change the constitution like Hugo Chavez. This doesn't please Honduras.

"The Beautifuls fourth of July"

I rembember some momorable events from the 4th of July when my children were kids, I liked to enjoy those days with my family and friends. In the morning my children would participate in prades, dancing. In the afternoon my friends and I cooked, while the children played. At night enjoyed the beautiful fireworks.

"Mexican Coffee"

This is how to make a good cup of coffe Mexican style. Start by heating 1 liter of water whit a stick of cinnamon in a ketle and sugar. Serve in a clay or mug cup. Finally enjoy it with a piece of sweet bread.

" Bad Think"

Many years ago in Mexico, The people believed if a child was left-handed, It wasn't good. It was diabolic. The parents forced their left-handed children to write with the right-hand. I think that idea was caused by the ignorance of the people.

I think that the idea wasn't good for those children, because they suffered a lot of mistreatment.

"Why I Decided to Come to Summer School"

I decided to came to summer sc hool, because I need to improve my English, and I think If I studied very hard, I would have a good job. I know English is very difficult for me, but someday I will be able to sepeak in English fluently.

The Best Life

My life when I was a child was beautiful. I didn't have any responsibilities. I only played and studied. In muy life now, I have a lot of responsibilities. For example , I take care of my family, study, clean my house, administrate the money, and pay the bills. I think to be a child is the best time in the life of a person.

My Goals

I want to finish learning English. It's very important for me to communicate with another person.

I wanto too study in the High School program and finish it. And I'd like to find a good job to help my husband and pay for muy daughter's college.

Something Exciting

I'm excited when the teacher dictates to us, because for me it is very difficult to listen to English. But I like to take dictation.

I know it's better for me because I learn how to listen in English.

My Father was My Hero

My father wa a wonderful person. I remember when I was child , he played with me and my seven brothers. He always had time for us.

I remember when we walked together to the zoo almost a half hours. When we arrived at the zoo, my father was tired an he slept on the grass, shile we playe around him.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day is good, because every body show their love to their mothers.

The people like to give her a lot of presnet, for example flowers, candies, perfumes, cards and jewelry.

I don't like when some people give her something for her house for example iron, washing machine, blender, because this day is day of the mother no the house.
